John’s focus is on property rights and associated obligations and opportunities. His vision is a world where information about property rights and the ability to process that information is no longer a barrier to developing and optimising the use and value of land assets for the benefit of landowners and the community.

John has worked with many landowners, developers, land registries, planning authorities and conservation and environmental protection agencies. Through this work he has developed insight into how improved information flows could enable better outcomes, faster. He has also developed the knowledge, skills and relationships needed to remove the barriers to the necessary changes.

Land Assembly Services Limited is the vehicle which brings together the resources and capabilities which deliver the products and services needed to realise his vision. John’s role is to ensure the company’s resources are developed and directed to meet the needs of all those who need to use and process information about property rights.

Prior to forming Land Assembly Services, John was a founding director of TerraQuest Solutions where, as technical director and later as managing director, he was responsible for delivering services and software to developers, landowners, planning authorities and land registries including HS1, London Docklands and Black Country Development Corporations, Heathrow Terminal 5, Crossrail, HMLR, and Transport for London.
